BBIs horrible antenna lesson and 8 pill disaster

We cannot make any of this up! BBI trying to explain how an antenna works… BADLY!
BBI, you really need to learn how to clean up after yourself before you even touch antennas!

Let’s take a look at a BBI 8 pill shall we?
Stick to driving a tow truck. This isn’t the work for you.

  1. BBI oh where to begin. He is a real moron. He is chiefest among CB-sinners and wattmeter coyotes. Beside the antenna jokes in this august publication here referenced, he makes up all kinds of shit as he goes along and seems to intentionally use the wrong and fake words for technical terms. Perhaps it is so that he can tell how popular he is when he searches google to see how many ignorant people have adopted his words. The stupid looking skull logo plastered on everything gives me the creeps like it wants to molest children or something. (what is the additional fee to NOT slap that thing on an item?). Skull supposed to be realistic and scary. BBI skull is weak and looks like it wants to kiss him on the lips man-to-man & swap biological fluids! OK so like a few others, I don’t like that ugly looking logo large plastered on equipment. He built a 3cx15K ? tube amp and posted vids of it, and it really shows his lack of knowledge in all aspects. He used costly quality parts and the layout of the control shelf was ok, but the tube enclosure cooling was a total multi-fan kludge . He didn’t show the inside of that portion either. Something to hide there and it’s probably not “intellectual property” he’s hiding either. Most people who build tube amps like to show off the completed RF section both above and below the RF chassis, but he kept that hidden. He’s running a bleeder stack using uninsulated tubular resistors on metal brackets on a metal plate. How many KV? don’t recall perhaps 8 to 12? The bleeder assembly was mounted crooked and arranged for bad cooling as well. The amp made lots of power but again was half of that power the overdriven fake watts (harmonics) that are not on the desired frequency? Even taking that into consideration the efficiency sucked, assuming his cheap chinese panel meters were accurate, so he does not know how to build tube RF amps and probably just copied off of what he saw in a wizard built video, which ampls are nothing special and rather barebones-shitty as well when compared to non-CB amplifiers. Amazing. BBI is learning, slowly, and probably from negative comments he gets. He could ditch the nambla gay rights looking skull, stop showing fake watts, learn to do math or make a computer do it form him, and read a stack of books starting with the hammy Hanbook and the Radio handbook, read some Terman and Kraus, etc. before building with tubes and spouting about antennas. In 10 or 15 years he might make a decent tube amp builder. Give him 20 years and he might understand antennas.

    1. I think maybe you need to watch some Youtube videos of BBI. Thats not a BBI amp. Period. Just because a person has a “amatuer radio license” doesnt mean your shit does not stink. It still stinks.
