WWDX users complain about moderator bias in favor of Fine Tune CB. [Updated x2]

11 users from WWDX – yes 11 users – write into the blog with similar stories of moderator bias in favor of Fine Tune CB. These users allege that threads about other shops are allowed to stay open while Fine Tune threads are closed, and in some cases deleted completely. Smelling a little bit of fish I decided to dig in a little and I discovered that these users are indeed CORRECT:

Of the last shops that seem to be discussed …

• Snake Radio Customs: 9 threads. 4 Closed.
• Fine Tune CB: 10 threads. 10 closed. (WOW!)
• Lesters Customs: 6 threads, 0 closed.
• BBI: 9 threads, 0 closed.
• Bells CB: 4 threads, 0 closed.

Keep in mind these are threads where people are fighting it out. The shop is called names, the tech is called names, the work is questioned. Nothing much different than Fine Tune. But Fine tune has a 100% closure rate. BBI gets bashed. Lester’s customs is getting bashed AS I TYPE THIS!

I would call that obvious bias. To this day a 42 page Snake Radio Customs thread is going strong, and he has been called extremely vicious things. Far worse than Fine Tune has ever been called.

How about it Capt. Killowatt? can you explain your obvious bias?
A user called you out and all you did was bitch, whine, and complain about working for free at your volunteer job.

UPDATES:

I have sent a message to several email addresses associated with the WWDX forum. All but one as of now bounced so I am hoping the one message made it to it’s destination and will be in the hands of Moleculo – the site owner.

A couple more emails have come in bringing the total to 13. Another common thread with Capt Kilowatt is that users feel he is unapproachable. They allege that he berates people, tells them to go away, threatens, intimidates, or just simply does not care. This must be the case if a WWDX user had to post it in public and the response given was what most people apparently expect: this is my world, go to hell.
