JokerMan Electronics – “Things are on my mind”

Yes, things must be on your mind. This video is about blaming UPS for his packaging failure.
He says that he takes a radio to the UPS store to get it packed and once it’s left “his shop” or in this case his garage it’s not his problem.

IT IS YOUR PROBLEM.

Do you really think the UPS store is going to pack it properly? Since when has the UPS store or any packing store done a good job packing something?

In the same video he says “my business is about taking care of people and giving quality work” and at that moment the camera is pointed at this:

  1. fedex will. They pack it, whatever it is, up to 150 lbs, and you declare value, and pay for the service plus $1 per $100 of value. Anything happens, from damage to total loss, and they pay up to the declared value. The cost of this is passed to the customer as the shipping cost. They pay it or assume the risk. This is unlike ups or usps or anyone else in the States, who run like excuse-spewing roaches in the light when something happens. My customers understand that I’m certainly not going to pay for their shipping or insurance. But this guy is too lazy to give his customers the choice and too weak to stick to his guns make them pay or take their own risk. Easier to just throw their shit in a box and blame the carrier. All it takes is an e-mail a pdf form where the customer can electronically sign to accept or refuse the packing and insurance service, save and return the form. So this guy is not professional. Every vendor is responsible for breakage/loss unless they use a responsible carrier and they have proof the customer agrees to pay or to assume the risk.
